Where I'm coming from
 

I am the kind of person that likes to make stuff. My education and background as an artist along with my training and career as a tool and die maker has given me some unique experiences and gifts.

 

When it came time for me to build a better paddle, I thought that composites might be a good direction to look in. Indeed, there is no doubt that carbon fiber is miraculously strong material.

 

I am also a big fan of traditional wood Greenland paddles I have made a number of the wood paddles. In fact, I started with wood like most of us. I expect by this summer (2007) I will add traditional wood paddles to the list of paddles available for you to purchase.
